This little boy has loved the feel of hair in his fingers since he was just months old.  At 5 1/2 that still hasn't changed.  As I laid next to him while dad read tonight Seth couldn't help putting his hands through my hair.  I wonder if he will grow out of this, or if someday, I'll see him sitting next to his wife with his fingers in her hair. :-)

My husband is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!!!  He took our 3 kids camping while I was away in the cities for the baby shower.  The kids had an absolute BLAST with their dad and I'm not sure they even noticed I was gone.  The following day grandma and grandpa Holder joined them at the lake for some afternoon fun.  To say that Josiah enjoys fishing would be a MAJOR understatement!  He is passionate about fishing and asks to go regularly.  As a kid I was the same way and so it's funny to see how much he enjoys fishing even though his dad isn't an avid fisherman.  Alayna enjoyed riding in the canoe most of the day!  Her legs were a bit sunburned by the end of the day.  She and Josiah wanted to give grandpa a ride in the canoe and so off they went!

'Mingelaux' is coming!!

Ok, so maybe that's not the baby name they plan to choose, but since they are struggling to find a name we decided we'd help!  What happens when you combine the names of 3 of her closest friends??  Well, 'Mingelaux'. :)

This dear friend moved far away to Indiana and so to have a day to catch up, hang out and celebrate the precious babe that is due to arrive in September was wonderful!  I can't wait to meet that baby girl!!  I love you Baby Nelson...oh, and her mom and dad also! ;)

Basketball Camp

Alayna had basketball camp this summer the week after the boys.  She enjoys basketball and is overall pretty athletic.  It's fun to watch my easy going, sweet little girl play basketball because she's scrappy and aggressive.  I love the many facets of this little girl!!

Amidst duck feeding, the boys caught a fish!

Duck feeding

Josiah wanted me to take him and his buddy fishing, so we brought stale bread for the ducks and Seth thought that was great!  It didn't take long for Alayna to join in the fun.  :-)

Seth's first summer playing tball.  It's fun to watch!  There's minimal talent, but lots of entertainment. :-)

My little fish

They are both excited for swimming lessons each day and it's fun to watch them swim.  I can't even count the number of times Seth has asked his teacher if he can go under water!  He's crazy about swimming!  Josiah finished lessons last summer, so just these 2 are enjoying lessons this year.
